Twitter moved 800 employees into its new headquarters and celebrated the building's maiden voyage with a midday barbecue, smoothie shots and chocolate covered strawberries on the rooftop deck. Even Twitter founder Jack Dorsey stopped by the party, tweeting "Our outdoor rooftop deck," with a photo. "Gorgeous."
Local photographer Troy Holden stopped in to snap some beautiful shots of the new office, which takes up three floors at 1355 Market Street.From what we can tell, Twitter may be big on offering employees common space, but very little about their new offices can be called common.The space features a yoga studio, a rooftop garden and an arcade-essential elements in any productive workplace, really.
What do you think of the Twitter new headquarters? Many people expressed their opinions. Some say it looks nice but compared to google and pixar, a little bland. Most people hold positive opinion and think it's amazing.
